This Halloween, team members from NoMythic and from the FTC team Hippocampus, another Mythical Robotics team, headed to the Mall of America with robots in tow. Along with a few more Twin Cities teams, we gave kids in the Allergy-Free Zone the opportunity to drive our robots! It was fun to help so many costumed kids give it a try.
Some team members brought our new robot to the legislature on Monday to meet with Senator Melisa Franzen and other key policy makers for education and STEM. Our take-away – be persistent!
Team members from FTC Mythic and FRC NoMythic went to the Mall of America for Halloween. They gave costumed children a chance to drive robots, as part of the Allergy-Free Zone put on by the Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association of MN. As always, our students loved the kids, and the kids had a blast!
Nine students, mentors and alumni volunteered to help at the Minnesota State High School League Competition this weekend, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the work it takes to put on a robotics competition. Yeah team!
