Before the match we found out one of our alliance partners was unable to play. Going in we knew it would be a 2 vs 3. We started out with a strong auto. We got out fast and limited the opposing alliances scoring. We continued to score with our alliance partner in Teleop. Unfortunately, we faced some defense that was targeting our intake, but we were able to get around it with the help of our alliance partner. We finished strong and put up our second highest score of the day!

Final score: 293 – 75
Going in we were hoping for a 4RP match and we got it! We had a strong auto (1.5 cycles) and continued to score prolifically throughout. We scored a vast majority of the points with our alliance partners protecting us and shoveling fuel to us.

We unfortunately faced our first loss of the day with a final score of 205 to 218.

There was some miscommunication coming out of lunch as to what had and hadn’t been touched by pit, and that lost us some points. Our intake was being reinforced (as a precautionary measure) over lunch and by the time we were on the field it wasn’t calibrated for auto. It unfortunately didn’t deploy and we lost auto.

The driving during tele-op was excellent at staying persistent against some really tough defense, and the execution within our team was very impressive.
